1. About String Bros Stringing

String Bros Stringing (“we”, “us” or “our”) provides professional tennis racket stringing, maintenance and related advisory services. By booking a job, using our online tools or submitting a racket to us, you agree to the terms below.

2. Booking & turn-around

  • Players can request work through the online portal or in person. Jobs are scheduled once a stringer accepts the request.
  • Standard turn-around is 24–48 hours. Express work is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.
  • Collection or drop-off appointments are agreed directly between the assigned stringer and the player.

3. Pricing & payment

  • Labour, string costs and optional extras (e.g. regrip, stencil) are itemised in the job summary. Prices are quoted in GBP.
  • Payment is due on collection unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash only at this time.
  • If a player supplies their own strings, the full labour rate still applies. Please bring your string in sets of 12m or exact lenght of cut string from the reel, we reserve the right not to accept racket for stringing if string is not in right condition.

4. Strings & equipment

  • We maintain our stock in climate-controlled conditions. Manufacturer specifications are followed unless a player requests otherwise.
  • When a player-provided string is visibly damaged, brittle or unsuitable for the chosen pattern, we may decline the job or request a waiver. We also take the right to use our string instead in certain cases.
  • Minor cosmetic wear on bumper guards, grommets or grips can occur during normal stringing and is considered acceptable use.

5. Cancellations & no-shows

  • Cancelling with less than 12 hours’ notice may result in a labour fee if stringing has started.
  • Rackets uncollected 30 days after completion may incur storage charges. After 90 days we reserve the right to recycle or donate the racket to cover costs.

6. Liability

  • Our liability for damage is limited to the replacement value of the strings and labour charged, or the demonstrable market value of the racket, whichever is lower.
  • We are not responsible for performance changes arising from player-specified tensions, patterns or string models.
  • Players must disclose any frame cracks, grommet defects or prior string bed issues. Hidden frame defects void any replacement obligation.

7. Player responsibilities

  • Verify that contact details, tension preferences and pickup deadlines are correct in the portal.
  • Remove personal accessories (dampeners, sensors and other items) before drop-off. We are not liable for accessories left on the frame.
  • Inspect the racket upon collection. Issues reported after 24 hours are treated as a new service request.

8. Data & communication

  • We store only the information needed to manage bookings, payments and service history.
  • Support conversations conducted through the portal may be shared with assigned stringers to resolve your enquiry.
  • We never sell personal data and only use marketing communications with explicit opt-in consent.
